04

Cookies and Tracking

Techno Meet uses minimal cookies and local storage to operate correctly:

  • Session cookies — to keep you logged in via NextAuth.js
  • CSRF tokens — to protect forms and API routes from cross-site attacks
  • Preference storage — to remember your dashboard settings locally

We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings, though this may log you out of the platform.

05

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. payment records for tax compliance, which may be retained for up to 7 years). Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked back to you.

06

Security

We take the security of your data seriously and implement industry-standard measures including:

  • Passwords hashed with bcrypt — never stored in plain text
  • All data in transit encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
  • Razorpay signature verification to prevent payment tampering
  • OTP expiry and rate limiting to protect authentication flows
  • MongoDB Atlas encryption at rest and network access controls

No system is 100% secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, please contact us immediately at the address below.
